Eurovision Song Contest

Já nesta terça feira começa o evento de Eurovision Song Contest, um evento especial na Europa e não só, desde que me lembro sempre assisti o programa. Consiste num concurso de canções entre países europeus, e para além da diversidade cultural passamos uma boa semana cheia de entusiasmo, musica e etretenimento. O evento decorre a cada ano desde os anos 50, e cada ano em um país diferente, dependendo do vencedor do ano anterior. Antes da grande Eurovision Song Contest, cada país organiza o seu próprio concurso musical entre os seus artistas para decidir quem seria o previlegiado representante. Assim ele ou ela viaja com a sua canção até o destino do concurso e passa uns tempos para o convívio com os outros participantes e prepara a sua alma para o estrelato do palco. No final, que normalmente é no sábado, todos os países têm as suas votações de todo o povo.
No ano passado a grande vencedora foi a Alemanha, representada por Lena com a música, Satellites. A mesma vai representar o seu país (de novo) este ano em casa. Outros cantores e grupos irão se apresentar à Europa nesta terça, quinta e sábado.
Embora não seja um concurso de canções, Eurovision Song Contest não se limita só a um festival de canções mas um festival de união entre culturas (e entre famílias/pessoas sentadas em festa à televisão com o telefone ao lado :P)
